Daniel Grossman, AIF®

Founder

Born and raised on California's coast, Daniel spent much of his youth watching the sea and surfing its waves. He met his future wife there and married in 1991. After earning a degree in economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1988, Daniel began his career at Mercer Global Advisors, a national financial planning firm. In this role, he traveled across the United States, delivering tailored business and personal financial planning solutions to medical professionals.

Following his time at Mercer, Daniel spent a decade in the high-tech industry as a business development manager, forging strategic partnerships for two technology firms—Optronics Engineering and NuMega Technologies (later acquired by Compuware).

In 2001, he returned to his original passion: financial planning. He joined Commonwealth Financial Network® in 2004 and went on to co-found Acorn Financial in 2007. In 2020, Daniel became a partner at Financial Strategies Retirement Partners. In July 2025, Daniel took the exciting step of launching his own firm, Granite Ginkgo Financial Planning.

In addition to his professional roles, Daniel has contributed to his community as treasurer of New Futures and as a board member of the Nashua Regional Board of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation.

Since 1994, Daniel and his wife, Kasia, have made their home in Nashua, New Hampshire, where they’ve raised their three children—David, Gavi, and Shira. A lifelong learner, Daniel is an avid reader and regularly listens to podcasts on a wide array of topics, including economics, technology, history, health, and psychology. He complements this intellectual curiosity with daily long walks.

As a dynamic advisor and coach, Daniel welcomes individuals who are ready to pursue their highest financial and personal goals to connect with him.
